FORTIFIED roofing systems are designed for greater protection against severe weather conditions (such as North Carolina tropical storms and hurricanes); these systems are high-wind, heavy rain, and hail resistant.
Why You Need FORTIFIED Roof™
The Remodeling Company of North Carolina installs FORTIFIED Roofs™ in New Bern, NC and throughout Beaufort, Craven, Carteret, Greene, Lenoir, Pamlico, and Pitt counties as an IBHS Certified Contractor specializing in storm-resistant roofing. Homeowners may be eligible for grant funding through various programs, helping make a qualifying FORTIFIED Roof™ replacement more affordable.
Effective November 1, 2025, only certified contractors recognized by IBHS will be authorized to install FORTIFIED Roofs™.
The Remodeling Company works directly with approved FORTIFIED™ Evaluators to document every step of the installation. Once the roof installation has been completed, the FORTIFIED Evaluator submits documentation to IBHS for review. Upon IBHS approval, the homeowner receives a 5-year FORTIFIED Roof™ designation certificate - eligible for renewal.
